I’m Andie Bottrell. My background is as varied as my genes–which my grandma would call “Hienz 57,” as in “we’re a little bit of everything.” I studied art in Italy for a year and then studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Next, I ventured out west to Los Angeles where I lived and worked for 6 years. It was in LA that I began working as a freelance writer, which I have been doing for 7 years now. In addition to writing, I’ve been busy creating: two web-series, a book of poetry and art, hundreds of photoshoots, several commercials, making and showing my art, acting in a movie and several plays, and have been creating varied marketing materials. I am passionate about visual arts and design. It excites my brain and my heart to do this work, so after being offered a track to take over and own a business in an industry I wasn’t passionate about, I re-evaluated my career goals and decided that if someone saw in me the ability to own, run, and manage a business that I’m not passionate about, then the possibilities for what I could accomplish with a business I AM passionate about could be endless. So, I turned down that opportunity and took the big leap to start a business of my own offering services that use the full scope of my creative skillset.
I love bringing client’s ideas to life and helping those whose primary skills are not creative to articulate and capture their brand, message, or life creatively. I’m into the quirky, the original, the unique and I have a bottomless pit of ideas and passion for people and this work.
Thanks for stopping by! I look forward to meeting and working with you!
